Rooted in Los Angeles, grown from the power of community.UnityWorksLA was born out of a deep love for our neighborhood and a bold vision for its future. As residents of Hype Park and the Crenshaw District , we’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges our community faces—gaps in resources, underinvestment, and safety concerns. But we’ve also seen something greater: the strength, creativity, and potential that exists on every corner.

We created UnityWorksLA to harness that potential. Our organization is dedicated to advancing community wellness, safety, and empowerment through programming and partnerships that focus on three pillars: mental and physical wellness, financial literacy, and community safety. From offering financial workshops and wellness classes to uplifting youth voices and organizing neighborhood safety initiatives, we believe in building from within.

We know that change doesn't happen overnight—and it doesn’t happen alone. That’s why UnityWorksLA is grounded in collaboration. We work with residents, local leaders, and like-minded organizations to co-create progress and make sure every voice is heard.

Our ultimate goal? To inspire long-term transformation across Los Angeles—starting with the community we call home.
